Bangchak Volunteers
Because Bangchak Petroleum Public Company Limited (BCP or Bangchak) has been committed to its goal of “sustainably developing business with society and the environment”, it has required its employees to be “virtuous, knowledgeable and contributive to the society”. The employees are expected to honor not just their work duty but also their duty to the society. Indeed, the Company has arranged various volunteer programs for its employees to take part in.
By being Bangchak Volunteers, the employees may do community services such as giving tutorial, free lunch or football coaching to children. They may also join mobile units to purchase used vegetable oil from people at 161 markets across Bangkok. Or they may volunteer to be staff at the Children’s Day activities that the Company has long hosted for children in its neighborhood.

Through such volunteer programs, the employees have opportunities to get together, develop good ties and support the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility policy all at the same time. Because the Company has recognized the value of the employees’ public-spiritedness, their volunteer performance always counts in their yearly performance evaluation.
