CMC has been actively involved in supporting the trading of TVERs (Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction), as well as RECs (Renewable Energy Certificates) with total trading volume of TVERs of over 300,000 tons of CO2 equivalent, and the total trading volume of RECs exceeded 1 million megawatt-hours, equivalent to approximately 800,000 tons of CO2 equivalent in total, or an estimate of planting over 90 million 10-year-old trees. CMC will continue to collaborate with various stakeholders and create innovative tools and activities for the continuous benefit of its members, such as carbon footprint calculator for corporate members and carbon credit trading platform on the CMC website.

This includes the 'Did You Know?’ Communication series on Facebook, online webinars, monthly articles 'Road to Decarbonization the Series' by Associate Professor Dr. Thon Thamrongnawasawat, and articles from corporate members, knowledge sharing in various forums, as well as carbon offsetting for individuals and events to become carbon neutral. Meanwhile, corporate members wishing to take climate action can purchase carbon credits or RECs or offer them for sale on our CMC Marketplace. They can also share knowledge through articles on our website or speaking in online seminars as well as participating in other activities as appropriate. We also invite corporate members to propose locations to become Eco Destinations and to use “ECOLIFE for CMC” application as a tool for their internal awareness building activities.
