Bangchak Joins Effort Driving the “Pa Thai Sai Hai Sanook” (Fun Wearing Thai Fashion) Project in line with the Royal Initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya

Creating Sustainable Communities, Fostering the Production and Utilization of Thai Fabrics, and Contributing to the Local Economy.

Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin graciously served as a witness in the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding to promote the production and use of Thai fabrics to strengthen the local economy between Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, and Sumamal Teja, President of The Occupational Learning Center of Nongbualamphu Province (Khwanta Learning and Design Center.) The collaboration will drive the “Pa Thai Sai Hai Sanook” project in line with the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya, during the opening ceremony of STYLE Bangkok 2024. Also present at the ceremony were Anutin Charnvirakul, Minister of Interior; Napintorn Srisanpang, Minister of Commerce; Keerati Rushchano, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Commerce; and Suttipong Juljarern, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, honoring the occasion at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

The Memorandum of Understanding represents a collaborative effort to tangibly expand the impact of the “Pa Thai Sai Hai Sanook” project, which embodies the royal principles of Her Royal Highness Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana Rajakanya. The project aims to create livelihoods and employment opportunities and generate income from the arts and crafts and products made from Thai fabrics. This will lead to an improved quality of life for the family and community, creating a sustainable society. The Occupational Learning Center of Nongbualamphu Province (Khwanta Learning and Design Center) will exclusively design fabric patterns for Bangchak executives and employees to wear, crafted by the skilled artisans of the Center, and the local craftsmen from Ban Huay Luek Community, Pho Chai subdistrict, Muang district, Nongbualamphu Province. This initiative not only promotes job creation and increase income in the community but will also improve the quality of life, supporting the local economy to create a Regenerative Society under the concept of “Regenerative Happiness” as Bangchak celebrates its 40th anniversary and enters into its fifth decade in 2024.
