Bangchak Unveils the Song “Tur Keu Bai Mai” (You Are the Leaf) to Mark Its 40th Anniversary and Transition into the Fifth Decade Conveying the Spirit of Paying It Forward

To commemorate its 40th anniversary of sustainable growth and its transition into the fifth decade, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited launched a special song titled “Tur Keu Bai Mai” (You Are the Leaf). The song reflects the spirit of “Paying it Forward,” a core value that has been deeply rooted in Bangchak’s employee culture for over four decades. The launch was held on the International Day of Families, May 15, at the “From Leaf to Leaf … Passing on Enduring Happiness” event, hosted at the Bai Mai Meeting Rooms on the 8th floor of Bangchak’s Headquarters, M Tower.

“You Are the Leaf” is the result of a collaboration among three of Thailand’s leading artists. Jik – Prapas Cholsaranon, National Artist, crafted the lyrical poetry with elegance and depth. Pod – Thanachai Ujjin, a versatile vocalist, brought the words to life with emotional resonance. Ball – Wittaya Thongyooyong, an acclaimed film director, added his signature storytelling touch through the music video’s inspiring narrative. This project is a collaboration between Bangchak, Workpoint, and Hub Ho Hin Bangkok Co., Ltd.

Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, said, “The song 'You Are the Leaf' reflects the identity of Bangchak - clearly recognized even by those outside the organization. It serves as a mirror of our corporate culture, which has been rooted in the principle of ‘'being virtuous, knowledgeable, and contributive to others’ for over 40 years. The inspiration behind the creation of this song stems from Bangchak’s commitment to continually passing on good things, within the organization and to society. We believe that this begins internally, through the sharing of knowledge, work practices, and values across generations: whether from seniors to juniors or vice versa. Our aim is for Bangchak to be more than just a workplace, but a space of happiness, growth, and meaningful connection.

Jik – Prapas Cholsaranon, the lyricist, shared that when he thinks of Bangchak, he sees the color green—an emblem of energy, vitality, and inspiration. The lyrics of “Tur Keu Bai Mai” reflect the symbolism of the leaves in Bangchak’s logo. Though they may appear delicate, these leaves embody the power of creativity, transformation, and growth. They represent values passed down through generations—values that propel the world toward sustainability and resonate with Bangchak’s commitment to delivering “Regenerative Happiness” across all sectors of society.

The music video brings to life the concept of “passing on” or “paying it forward” through everyday moments, be it acts of kindness between loved ones or strangers, or the sharing of skills and wisdom across generations. These small, heartfelt gestures ripple outward, creating a meaningful impact. The video culminates in the powerful message: “The most sustainable thing to pass on is inspiration.” Watch the music video for the song at https://youtu.be/1oZjWHIZr9M.

In addition, Bangchak has produced a commemorative book titled “40 Years of Bangchak: Entering the Fifth Decade – A Decade of Evolving Greenovation” to reflect on the company’s journey of growth, especially the transitions over the past ten years under the leadership of Mr. Chaiwat. The book presents conversations with five invited guests: Suthichai Yoon, Dr. Karndee Leopairote, Pongsuk Hiranprueck, Khemupsorn Sirisukha, and Nakarin Wanakijpaibul. Through these dialogues, the book highlights the importance of continuous learning, adaptability, and collaboration among all members of the Bangchak family as they move forward together toward long-term sustainability.
