Genwit – New Generation Geniuses Presented by Bangchak Group Season 2 Concludes with Suankularb Wittayalai School Crowned STEM Youth Champions

Executives of Bangchak Group, led by Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, joined the closing of Season 2 of “Genwit – New Generation Geniuses Presented by Bangchak Group,” an academic quiz show competition for upper secondary school students based on STEM education, competing for the Royal Trophy bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. “SK Squad” from Suankularb Wittayalai School won the championship, receiving the Royal Trophy and a scholarship of THB 1,000,000 from Bangchak Group. The first runner-up was “ANSwers” from Amnuay Silpa School, which received a scholarship of THB 500,000. The event was also honored by the presence of Mr. Panya Nirankul, Chairman of Workpoint Entertainment Public Company Limited, who extended his congratulations to both schools.

Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach presented the scholarships and congratulated the youth participants, stating: “Congratulations to the students of Suankularb Wittayalai School, the Season 2 champions, and to Amnuay Silpa School, the first runner-up. Through Genwit – New Generation Geniuses Presented by Bangchak Group, these students demonstrated strong STEM knowledge, quick thinking, creativity, analytical skills, teamwork, communication, and time management in solving challenging problems throughout the competition. I hope that in the future, Thai youth will achieve global success, even reaching the level of the Nobel Prize in STEM-related fields such as Physics and Chemistry.

The program’s success is reflected not only in its warm reception from audiences nationwide but also in the recognition it has earned from esteemed institutions, including the 16th Nataraja Award 2024 for Best Gameshow and Competition category, organized by the Radio-Television Broadcasting Professional Federation; MORAL AWARDS 2024, Honorable Mention in the Creative Media for Social Good category, organized by the Moral Promotion Center (Public Organization); and was named one of the five finalists for Best Original Game Show Made in Asia at the 6th Content Asia Awards 2025 in Taipei, Taiwan.

“Genwit – New Generation Geniuses Presented by Bangchak Group” was first launched in 2024 through the collaboration of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited, BCPG Public Company Limited, BBGI Public Company Limited, Bangchak Retail Company Limited, and Workpoint Entertainment, to promote youth development in STEM education, competing for the Royal Trophy bestowed by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. In the first season, 16 schools were selected to participate, while in Season 2, more than 80 schools applied nationwide, with 16 schools selected to compete in the televised rounds, broadcast from 4 June to 10 September 2025.
