FTI Hosts Climate Change Forum 2025 Driving Thai Industry towards Net Zero Bangchak Receives Top Honor as Climate Action Leader – Excellence Award

The Climate Change Institute (CCI) under the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) organized the inaugural “Climate Change Forum 2025: Driving towards Net Zero” at M Tower, Sukhumvit 62. The forum served as a major platform for exchanging knowledge, practices, and innovations in addressing climate change, bringing together representatives from government, business, academia, and environmental networks. Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited was among the key supporters of the event.

A highlight of the forum was the presentation of the Climate Change Awards, recognizing organizations with outstanding achievements in Climate Action. Bangchak received the top honor in the category “Climate Action Leader – Excellence”, reinforcing its leadership in advancing Climate Action and delivering positive outcomes for society and the environment. Notable initiatives include the FAST+ Project and the installation of thermal-insulating coatings at the Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery, which have contributed to lowering the carbon footprint (CFP) of its products by 13–39% below the national average, along with broader energy management and environmental programs that reduce greenhouse gas emissions across the value chain.

In addition, Bangchak Group showcased its flagship sustainability initiatives through two exhibitions: “Fry to Fly”, a program promoting the collection of used cooking oil for conversion into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), and the Carbon Markets Club, which engages businesses, communities, and youth in learning about carbon markets and raising climate awareness, helping to expand participation in tangible greenhouse gas reduction.
