Bangchak Group and KX Knowledge Xchange Host TECHBITE Energy – Demo Day 2025 Empowering 10 Startups to Advance Greenovation for a Sustainable Future

On 31 October 2025, Bangchak Group reaffirmed its leadership in greenovation by hosting TECHBITE Energy – Demo Day 2025: Incubating the Future of Energy and Sustainability, in collaboration with KX Knowledge Xchange, the innovation center of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT). The event was presided over by Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President of Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, and Dr. Patrachart Komolkiti, Chief Executive Officer of KX Knowledge Xchange, KMUTT, who jointly delivered the opening remarks. They were joined by Bangchak Group executives, university representatives, and strategic partners, as ten startup teams dedicated to developing innovations in energy and sustainability presented their work to executives, investors, and business partners, with the goal of scaling clean energy solutions for real-world application. The event was held at True Digital Park.

This collaboration represents an integrated effort under a shared vision to promote the growth of startups toward regional and global expansion. Bangchak serves as a bridge connecting the startup ecosystem with the industrial sector, helping elevate innovations that generate positive social and environmental impact while making Greenovation more tangible. Meanwhile, KX is committed to being a hub for deep tech, knowledge exchange, and business opportunities, fostering a strong and sustainable innovation ecosystem. This aligns with the Global Energy Demand Mix, which combines conventional energy with an increasing share of clean and green energy. The initiative also opens opportunities for startups to co-develop new businesses through strategic partnerships and investments, driving Greenovation across organizations, the environment, and society.

The event also featured a keynote session titled “Energy x Sustainability by Bangchak Group,” delivered by Mrs. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited. This was followed by a panel discussion on “Opportunities for Investment in Energy Businesses,” featuring Dr. Patrachart Komolkiti, Mrs. Narupan Suthamkasem, Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy and New Business Development, Bangchak Group; Mr. Thanapong Na Ranong, Managing Partner, Beacon Venture Capital; Mr. Petch Wannisorn, Investment Director – Corporate Venture Capital, Banpu Public Company Limited; and Mr. Chayoot Chatunawarat, Investment Principal, InnoPower Company Limited. The session was moderated by Dr. Panit Kitsubun, Director of the Industrial Bioprocess Innovation Group (IBIG).

TECHBITE Energy, a joint initiative by Bangchak Group and KX, has outlined investment strategies in five future-focused technology areas: Alternative Fuels, Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS), Waste-to-Value Innovations, Digital Transformation for Sustainability, and Sustainable Materials. Over the past six months, the ten selected startups have received close mentorship from industry experts and participated in business-matching activities. Bangchak provided access to real business challenges and data to help refine their solutions to meet actual market needs.

Beyond showcasing innovation, TECHBITE Energy – Demo Day 2025 also served as a platform for networking and collaboration among organizations, investors, and business partners. Leading local and international partners, including Thailand Science Park and the TED Fund, joined forces to advance Greenovation and unlock the potential of Thailand’s energy sector for sustainable global growth. This initiative underscores Bangchak Group’s role as a Greenovation Leader and KX’s position as a builder of a thriving Innovation Ecosystem, working together to co-create sustainable energy for the future.
