Bangchak Confirms Oil Sales to Buyers in the Lao PDR Are Normal Commercial Transactions, with Clear Monitoring and No Misuse

Mr. Seri Anupanthanun, Senior Executive Vice President, Marketing Business Group, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, stated that the sale of oil products to buyers in the Lao People’s Democratic Republic is a normal commercial transaction conducted in strict compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

All buyers have provided formal written confirmation of the intended use of the oil products, which are utilized within the Lao PDR, including for their own service stations, resale to other service stations, and use in mining projects and designated infrastructure developments. There has been no misuse of the oil products beyond the stated purposes.

In addition, all oil transportation is monitored through a GPS tracking system, enabling clear route tracking from the point of origin to the final delivery destination. The system allows for retrospective verification to confirm delivery locations and actual usage.
