Unauthorized Access to Personal Data of Individuals Associated with Bangchak Group No Financial Information Involved and Corrective Actions Undertaken

Bangchak Group, through Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, has detected unauthorized access to personal data of certain individuals associated with Bangchak Group. At this stage, there is no evidence indicating that any financial transaction data has been misused or that any financial damage has occurred to the affected individuals.

The Group has reviewed its security measures to prevent unauthorized access to personal data. As an initial step, the access rights of system administrators were reviewed, and passwords for all employee user accounts across the Bangchak Group were changed. The Group has also implemented monitoring measures to prevent unauthorized access to its information systems and has coordinated with the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) and the Personal Data Protection Committee (PDPC) to report the incident and jointly implement preventive measures. Legal action will be taken accordingly.

Bangchak Group places importance on the protection of personal data and will continue to conduct comprehensive and ongoing reviews of its data security systems to prevent any recurrence of such incidents in the future.
