Bangchak Welcomes DEPP on SAF Study Visit

On 13 February 2026, Mr. Bundit Hansapaiboon, Acting President, Refinery and Marketing Business Group, together with executives from the Bangchak Group, welcomed a delegation from the Department of Energy Policy and Planning (DEPP), Ministry of Energy, led by Mr. Wattanapong Kurovat, Director General of DEPP, on a visit to the Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery to learn about the production of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) from used cooking oil (UCO), as Bangchak is Thailand’s first SAF producer. The visit formed part of a series of seminars and study programs on operational approaches for supporting the energy transition under the Ministry of Energy’s new Code of Conduct, designed to enhance knowledge, understanding, readiness, and capacity among policymakers as Thailand advances its national energy transition.
