Bangchak Confirms Normal Operations of Oil Depots and Marine Oil Transportation Under Government Regulation

Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited confirms that the management of its oil depots and marine oil transportation operations continues as normal and complies with applicable standards. The Company remains subject to inspections by relevant government authorities and regularly reports operational data to regulators.

In recent months, the Company’s oil depots have been continuously inspected by relevant government agencies, including the Department of Energy Business (DOEB), the Department of Special Investigation (DSI), the Marine Department, and local energy authorities. All inspection results have been in order, with oil inventory managed in accordance with established rules and standards.

Regarding the reported inspection of oil depots in Surat Thani province, the Company clarifies that it is not involved with the depots referenced in the news. Bangchak’s two oil depots in Surat Thani, as well as one additional leased depot, have already been inspected by the relevant authorities and are in compliance with applicable standards. Records of receipts, withdrawals, and inventory levels are consistent with those reported to regulators, with no irregularities identified, including no evidence of hoarding or leakage.

For marine transportation of oil to depots in Surat Thani, the Company has continuously reported transportation data to the Department of Energy Business, with no irregularities identified.
