Bangchak introduces “Fry to Fly – 2 Liters for 1 Liter” Enabling Immediate Fuel Exchange at Service Stations

Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited has introduced a pilot campaign, “Fry to Fly – 2 for 1,” inviting the public to exchange used cooking oil for vehicle fuel under the concept of “kitchen oil for mobility.” For every 2 liters of used cooking oil, participants receive 1 liter of fuel, redeemable immediately at participating Bangchak service stations across Bangkok and surrounding areas from April 6–30.

The initiative is designed to help ease the burden on consumers, building on Bangchak’s Fry to Fly program, which collects used cooking oil for conversion into Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF). This pilot brings the concept closer to everyday use, allowing households to exchange 2 liters of used cooking oil for 1 liter of diesel or regular-grade gasohol (excluding premium grades) on the spot.

A maximum of 20 liters of used cooking oil per person applies. For convenience, the exchange is based on an equivalence of 1 kilogram to 1 liter of used cooking oil.

This pilot campaign is part of Bangchak’s efforts to support consumers amid the ongoing Middle East situation. A list of participating stations is available at https://www.bangchak.co.th/th/newsroom/bangchak-news/1880/
