Bangchak Group Refineries Join Industry Declaration to Strengthen Good Governance and Transparency in Thailand’s Energy Sector

Executives from Bangchak Group’s refineries joined representatives from all six petroleum refineries under the Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) in a joint declaration reaffirming their commitment to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and zero tolerance for corruption in all forms, while supporting a fair, transparent, and accountable energy system for Thailand.

The declaration was held at PTT Public Company Limited and attended by Mr. Anuwat Rungreangratnakul, Senior Executive Vice President, Refinery Business Group, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, and Ms. Kanthamas Kritayanukul, Assistant Senior Vice President, Manufacturing, currently assigned to Bangchak Sriracha Public Company Limited, together with executives from Thailand’s refinery sector and representatives from business and governance organizations, including the Federation of Thai Industries, the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand, the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and the Thai Institute of Directors Association (IOD), who joined as witnesses.

The refinery group reaffirmed that the energy industry is a critical infrastructure sector and must operate with transparency, accountability, and good corporate governance. All member companies place strong emphasis on business ethics, legal compliance, and appropriate management of counterparty risks. The group also reiterated that it will not support any business activities that violate the law, lack transparency, or undermine public confidence, economic stability, or Thailand’s energy security.
