Bangchak Group’s Oam Suk Social Enterprise Wins Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards 2026 for Social Empowerment

Bangchak Group has received the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) 2026 in the Social Empowerment category for Oam Suk Social Enterprise (OSSE), a social enterprise jointly invested in by Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited and BCPG Public Company Limited. OSSE connects the Bangchak Group’s expertise, technology, and capabilities with agricultural cooperatives and farming communities across Thailand, advancing clean energy infrastructure, low-carbon agriculture, bio-innovation, and market access for community products to create shared economic, social, and environmental value.
Mrs. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, Bangchak Corporation Plc., Director of OSSE, Mr. Rawee Boonsinsukh, Chief Executive Officer and President, BCPG Plc., and Mr. Charnvit Trangadisaikul, Senior Executive Vice President, Investment, BCPG Plc., Director of OSSE, together with Ms. Sasamon Suputthamongkol, Senior Manager, Corporate Social Projects, Bangchak Corporation Plc., and Manager of OSSE, joined by teams from Bangchak and BCPG, jointly celebrated OSSE's recognition as a recipient of the Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards (AREA) 2026.
At the heart of OSSE is the “Cooperative Network to Combat Global Warming” initiative, which supports agricultural cooperatives through rooftop solar installations to expand access to clean energy while reducing energy costs. It also promotes low-carbon agriculture through the Thai Rice NAMA program and the “Burn Less, Breathe Clean” initiative, which applies bio-innovation to reduce open-field burning, mitigate PM2.5 pollution, and restore soil health.
OSSE is another example of the Bangchak Group’s commitment to creating long-term shared value through collaboration. By bringing together government agencies, academia, businesses, and local communities, it strengthens agricultural cooperatives, lowers operating costs, increases farmers’ incomes, creates new business opportunities, and supports Thailand’s transition to a low-carbon economy while building stronger and more resilient communities.
