Bangchak Badminton Club and Banthongyord Badminton School Strengthen Ties Through Sport, Building on More Than 12 Years of Friendship

Recently, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited’s Badminton Club held a special round of its annual friendly badminton tournament for 2026 at Bangchak Sport Complex. For the first time, the club welcomed two rising women’s singles players from Banthongyord Badminton School to compete alongside Bangchak executives and employees: “Som” Sarunrak Vitidsarn, women’s singles champion, and “Nu Waen” Anyapat Phichitpreechasak, women’s singles runner-up at the PETRONAS Malaysia International Challenge 2026 in Malaysia.

Mr. Seri Anupantanan, Senior Executive Vice President, Marketing Business Group, and Mr. Thanakorn Ananprakrit, Vice President, Retail Oil Business, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, joined the two Banthongyord players in the opening exhibition doubles match. The club’s chair and players, together with Bangchak executives and employees, welcomed the guests and took part in the tournament.

Mr. Seri thanked the Banthongyord players for bringing energy to the event and creating a memorable experience for club members and employees. He noted that Bangchak Group has supported Banthongyord Badminton School for more than 12 years, helping Thai athletes compete on the world stage while contributing to the development of badminton in Thailand. The event also further strengthened the longstanding ties between the Bangchak and Banthongyord families.

Bangchak regularly organizes internal badminton tournaments as part of its commitment to employee well-being. The sport benefits both body and mind by improving fitness, agility and decision-making while helping relieve stress, promote relaxation and lift participants’ mood.
