BCPT Marks 10 Years of Trust, Sets the Course for Future Growth Targets Threefold Growth in Trading Business by 2031 Reinforces Role as a Growth Engine Connecting Bangchak Group to Global Markets

On 6 September 2026, BCP Trading Pte. Ltd. (BCPT), a Bangchak Group affiliate, held “BCPT at 10: A Decade of Trust, A Future of Growth” in Singapore to mark its 10th anniversary and thank the customers, counterparties and business partners who have played an important role in its growth over the past decade. The event brought together almost 300 high level executives and partners from leading companies across the energy and commodity trading, shipping and logistics, financial services, advisory and market intelligence sectors.

BCPT was established in Singapore in 2016 to engage in commodity trading and related activities. Commercial operations began in 2017, initially supporting Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery, before expanding to serve both Bangchak refineries, conduct transactions with customers outside the Group and undertake international trading. By the end of 2025, its crude oil and petroleum product trading volume had grown to nearly 20 times its 2017 level.

Mr. Chaiwat Kovavisarach, Group Chief Executive Officer and President, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, in his capacity as Chairman of BCPT, said, “Over the past 10 years, BCPT has steadily developed into an international trading business, expanding in scale, market reach and capabilities. Its activities span crude oil and product trading, risk management and logistics, as well as biofuels and specialty products, while its business with customers outside Bangchak Group has continued to expand.

“Trading has been elevated to one of Bangchak Group’s core business groups, drawing on the Group’s strengths across its natural resources and refining businesses and energy products, and connecting them with markets and trading opportunities worldwide. Trading is therefore no longer merely a supporting function, but an engine that helps balance supply and demand, unlock additional value from assets, accelerate revenue growth, and strengthen energy security and competitiveness. The trading business aims to triple in scale by 2031 to support Bangchak Group’s growth.”

BCPT’s operations encompass crude oil sourcing and trading, petroleum product trading, logistics management, biofuels and specialty products, and derivatives. Supported by robust risk management and in-depth market analysis, these activities create additional value throughout the value chain. BCPT has also established subsidiaries - BCPT FZCO in the United Arab Emirates in 2025 and, more recently, Mobius Maritime in Singapore - to expand its trading network and strengthen its interregional transportation and logistics capabilities.

From an oil trading company that began 10 years ago with a mission to support a single refinery, BCPT has evolved into an international trading business that drives growth, strengthens energy security and enhances resilience to volatility by connecting Bangchak Group’s assets, products and network with global markets, thereby supporting sustainable growth.
