Bangchak Wins National Innovation Award

Mr. Don Pramudwinai, deputy prime minister and foreign minister, has presented a National Innovation Award – Outstanding Innovative Organization from the large-enterprise category to Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited’s executive vice president Mr. Suwat Meemook at the National Innovation Awards presentation ceremony 2020. Organized by the National Innovation Agency, the event honors prominent Thais whose innovations have made tangible contributions to the nation, raised awareness of innovations, and spurred pride in Thai innovative output. The award-presentation ceremony has been held at Chatra Rooms 1-2, Siam Kempinski Bangkok.

Bangchak’s innovation management is impressive thanks to its executives’ solid support and its supportive business structure. The Bangchak Initiative and Innovation Center (BiiC) was established not just to develop and explore new business opportunities but also to conduct researches that will upgrade the firm’s green-energy and bio-based businesses both in Thailand and overseas. In addition, Bangchak has promoted innovations across its organization on a continued basis. Its employees are encouraged to integrate design thinking to their work, paving way for startups to materialize within the firm in pursuit of future businesses. Bangchak has also constantly explored opportunities to upgrade the quality of life among all stakeholders especially its neighboring communities and farmers in line with its philosophy of fostering sustainable business-innovation development, environmental care, and social responsibility.
