Bangchak Eases COVID-19 Impacts, Extends Caring Support to Neighboring Communities and #saveKlongToei

In the face of severe COVID-19 crisis, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited has offered constant support to all sectors in a bid to ease their burdens. Not only that the company has given help to authorities, but it has also taken care of people living around its refinery as well as Klong Toei communities that have now become hotspots of the virus.

Bangchak has lately given facial masks, Midori hand sanitizer and alcohol spray, as well as leaflets on how to protect oneself from COVID-19 to more than 8,000 families living in Bangkok’s Phra Khanong, Bang Na and Bang Nam Phueng areas, the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Public Health’s residential units, and Bangchak Refinery’s neighborhoods. Moreover, Bangchak has donated adult diapers to bedridden patients via the Phra Khanong District Office. Bangchak pre-paid cards are also given to volunteers for use in transporting patients. Bangchak is now ready to provide further support whenever any need arises during the ongoing COVID-19 situation.

To mitigate the serious COVID-19 spread in Klong Toei communities, Bangchak has worked with local volunteers in delivering basic necessities and necessary support. PPE gowns, PVC pillows, alcohol gel, alcohol spray, oximeters, cleaning solutions, dried foods, drinking water and necessary commodities are provided by the firm via the Duang Prateep Foundation, Khlong Toey Dee Jung Group, and the Wat Saphan triage center. Bangchak has also delivered drinking water bottles – some of which donated by its customers via the Filling Tanks for Sharing, Giving Drinking Water to Field Hospitals, Medical Facilities in Critical Zones” project – to the foundation.
