Bangchak Earns Second Consecutive Prestigious Global MIKE Award

Chokchai Atsawaransalit, Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Management and Organization Development, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited received the Global Most Innovative Knowledge Enterprise (MIKE) Award 2023 at Cardis Hotel, Hong Kong SAR during The Annual Knowledge and Innovation Forum (AKIF) as one of the world’s leading enterprises on knowledge and innovation management excellence.

For the third consecutive year, Bangchak has participated in the program, consistently earning awards at the national and regional global levels. This reflects its commitment to managing organizational knowledge, especially with regard to utilizing Digital Technology and Data Analytics to create internal innovation, promoting the exchange of ideas through Communities of Practices (CoP) of Bangchak Group employees, and encouraging employees to develop their knowledge and skills to become Internal Instructors. Moreover, it fosters an atmosphere that encourages employees to collaborate to develop work process innovation, deliver exceptional customer experience, and develop new business models. The approach was founded along Bangchak’s Core Values of “i am bcp”, consisting of Innovation, Agility & Mobility, Boldness, Customer Empathy, and Passion & Ownership.

The Global MIKE Award (or Global Most Innovative Knowledge Enterprise Award) is a prestigious enterprise management spanning over 25 years organized by The Institute for Knowledge and Innovation Southeast Asia (IKI-SEA) and Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong SAR in conducting research, studies, and rankings of enterprises from around the world that have applied Knowledge Management to drive product and service development strategies and create an atmosphere of tangible knowledge and innovation management.

In 2023, the MIKE Award received applications from over 1,000 enterprises. This year, the only other Thai enterprise to receive the Global MIKE Award was PTTEP Public Company Limited. Additionally, 21 other leading companies from around the world were recognized, including TATA Chemical from India, the Airport Authority from Hong Kong, Nokia Cloud and Network Services from the United States of America, and Sakigake Semiconductor from Japan, among others.
