Bangchak Group Extends Support to Border Areas

In response to the unrest along the Thai–Cambodian border, Bangchak Group has delivered assistance to help alleviate impacts on the ground, supporting officials and volunteers carrying out their duties, as well as affected communities. Drinking water has been delivered to shelters and donation collection points across several provinces, including the 23rd Ranger Regiment at Phithak Uthumphonket Camp in Sisaket Province; shelters at Ubon Ratchathani Rajabhat University, Kheuang Nai Campus, Ubon Ratchathani Province; the Sa Kaeo Provincial Administrative Organization shelter; the 19th Military Circle; and Wing 3 in Sa Kaeo Province. The Group has also invited customers to contribute drinking water through refuelling at Bangchak service stations, enabling continued deliveries to the border areas as a show of support for officials, volunteers, and affected residents.
In addition, Bangchak fuel cards have been provided to relevant agencies and volunteer organizations to support the transportation of essential supplies to affected areas, including shelters at Wat Khao Sala in Surin Province, led by Luangta Yuen Khantipholo, Provincial Ecclesiastical Governor of Surin and Abbot of Wat Khao Sala Atulthanacharo. The Group is also coordinating with local partners to deliver consumer goods and other essential items, working with organizations such as Goodness Foundation, The Heart to Heart Rescue Group, the Sai Dai Group, and others.
Bangchak Group extends its encouragement and concern to all officials, volunteers, and residents in the affected border areas, and hopes for a swift de-escalation of the situation and an early return to normalcy.
