Bangchak Continues Job Creation Initiative Supporting Skilled Trades in Communities Surrounding Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery

Mrs. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, presented essential toolkits such as professional hand tools, drills, wrenches, multi-purpose screwdrivers, air blowers, electrical testers, and air-conditioning refrigerant gauges to participants of the electrical technician and residential air-conditioning technician training programs under the Bangchak Job Creation initiative, to support them in starting their careers. The recipients are residents of communities surrounding the Bangchak Phra Khanong Refinery who were selected to attend vocational training at the Short-Term Vocational Training Center, Bang Bon District, Bangkok, and have successfully completed programs certified by the Ministry of Education.

The Bangchak Job Creation initiative, launched in 2023, to support neighboring communities around the Phra Khanong Refinery by providing access to vocational skills training and income-generating opportunities. The program covers community-relevant courses, initially focusing on food preparation and traditional Thai desserts, with skilled-trade programs introduced as a new track in 2025. The program also provides knowledge in cost calculation, basic accounting, income and expense management, and marketing, along with a selection process for high-potential participants to be further developed as entrepreneurs, contributing to the strengthening of the local grassroots economy and growing sustainably together.
