Bangchak Group and Business Partners Unite for Annual Vendor Seminar 2023: “Next Together: A Journey of Growth and Collaboration”

Bangchak Group recently organized its annual vendor seminar 2023, titled “Next Together: A Journey of Growth and Collaboration” which welcomed more than 200 Bangchak Group business partners. The seminar aimed at raising awareness and understanding of Bangchak’s policy and direction. Chokchai Atsawarangsalit, Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Management and Organization Development, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a presentation on the policies and future direction of Bangchak Group for mutual business growth. Gloyta Nathalang, Executive Vice President, Corporate Branding, Communication, and Sustainability Activation, and Chairperson of Carbon Markets Club, shared information on greenhouse gas management, titled “Bangchak’s Group’s Decarbonization Journey.”

During the event, Bangchak Group executives shared valuable insights with business partners. These insights included greenhouse gas emissions from operations, strategies for reduction/offsetting greenhouse gas emissions with carbon credits, and a demonstration of the Carbon Footprint of Organization tool for members of Carbon Markets Club, jointly established by Bangchak. Moreover, participants were also presented the Supplier Code of Conduct, operations towards fostering a Net Zero Ecosystem, and the development of a Procurement Share Service by Bangchak’s procurement divisions, in order to provide business partners with opportunities and to prepare for future developments. It also presented the ESG Award to business partners with good evaluation scores.
