Bangchak Welcomes the Delegation from the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority on the Study of Innovation and Business Incubation Strategies

Narupan Suthamkasem, Acting Senior Executive Vice President, Corporate Sustainability Development and Strategic Synergy, Bangchak Corporation Public Company Limited, welcomed a delegation from the Metropolitan Waterworks Authority executive development program, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Nattapan Buavaraporn, Dean of the International School of Management, the University of the Thai Chamber of Commerce. The delegation studied the implementation of innovation and business incubation strategies, as well as the development of new business models within the organization during their visit to Bangchak Corporation’s Head Office at M Tower.

Bangchak emphasizes the importance of driving business through innovation to ensure business continuity and organizational sustainability. Bangchak Initiative and Innovation Center (BiiC) was established in 2017 with the mission to foster innovation through research and development (R&D), corporate venture capital (CVC) investments in global startups with new innovations and technologies, and the creation of an innovation ecosystem and business incubation (E&I). BiiC achieves success with the creation of Winnonie, an EV-bike rental platform, as part of a startup initiative within Bangchak Group that leverages Greenovation to enhance the quality of life for motorcycle taxi drivers, along with research and development on astaxanthin.
