The Baimai Punsuk Foundation by Bangchak Group, in collaboration with the Tungsak Asome Learning Center, continues its commitment to enhancing youth literacy with the 8th year of the “Read & Write with Ease” initiative. This year’s activities include a series of three training workshops for school administrators and Grade 1 teachers across the country, engaging over 260 participants.

Mrs. Gloyta Nathalang, Senior Executive Vice President, Sustainability Management and Corporate Communications, Bangchak Corporation Plc. and Director of the Foundation, delivered the opening remarks during the online training, which reached 57 schools in 30 provinces. While Ms. Sumintara Pinthong, Deputy Director of the Education Service Area Office, Mae Hong Son District 1, and Mr. Suraphol Srisilpa, Director of the Educational Monitoring and Evaluation Group, Mae Hong Son District 2. launched an on-site training session for 34 schools in the province, continuing the mission to foster literacy nationwide.

Leading the training was Ms. Naiduangta Patoommasoot from the Tungsak Asome Center, with support from the Foundation’s team. The sessions focused on equipping teachers with effective Thai language teaching techniques using a 4-step skill ladder approach, enabling accurate and measurable literacy development in every class hour.

Over the past eight years, the project has reached 330 schools across 61 provinces and benefited more than 11,000 students. Schools participating in the initiative have shown a 6% improvement in national reading test (RT) scores, underscoring the impact and success of this collaborative effort.
