The Bangchak Way of Balanced Sustainability

Recently, some may have noticed the gradual introduction of the “New Leaf” logo at a few Bangchak service stations, a process that began with its offices and media channels towards the end of last year. The more vibrant and colourful New Leaf logo retains the Bangchak identity by moulding the iconic “leaf” motif of the original logo with the Möbius strip and an infinity loop, to signify everlasting progress, reflecting the vision of “Crafting a Sustainable World with Evolving Greenovation”.

The balance between “Value” and Virtue”

The fundamental principle of conducting business by Bangchak began with consideration of its intrinsic “value” (seeking reasonable profits without exploiting its partners) and upholding environmental and social “virtues” (responsibility to the environment, community, and society, being an organization of value to society).

Balancing the Energy Trilemma

Rooted in Thainess, Bangchak for Thais

While embracing globalisation and expanding its business to various regions of the world, as a leading Thai energy conglomerate, one of Bangchak’s main mission is to strengthen energy security for the country. At the same time, Bangchak places great importance in being rooted in Thainess, being Bangchak for Thais, by actively preserving and promoting traditional Thai culture, customs, and practices. During the recent Songkran festival, executives and employees joined the traditional “Rod Nam Dum Hua” ritual to receive blessings from community elders near Bangchak Refinery, employees also performed the ceremony with executives. Bangchak regularly organizes various activities for customers, including selecting and developing community or agricultural products to market or offered as complimentary gifts.

Throughout its nearly 40-year history, “balance” has been integral in creating a strong foundation for Bangchak, while the company stands ready to adapt to its ever-expanding business landscape, seamlessly blending Thai and global perspectives together. As it prepares to enter its fifth and future decades, Bangchak is well-poised to remain strong and sustainable for years to come.
